With rising global temperatures and the impending effects of climate change due to rising carbon emissions, we understand that energy conservation and emission reduction is essential to a sustainable future for us all. We have taken practical steps including installing solar panels, new state of the art energy-efficient boilers as well as LED lighting.

World Class Support

We know that life as a senior citizen can be scary and, at times, even dangerous. We have invested heavily in keeping you safe. Not only are our staff trained to CQC requirements, but we have also invested in fall sensors, alarmed doors, and camera systems in public areas to prevent abuse and injury. Coupled with our policy of safety first, this technology helps in ensuring that your welfare is always looked after in the best possible way.

Water Conservation

Over the past 40 years, the world’s population has doubled, and the use of water has quadrupled. Researchers at Aarhus University have predicted that by 2040 there won't be enough water to meet the global demand for this precious resource. As such, in response to this public need, we have invested towards water conservation at Rushey Mead Manor. Steps include investing in water conserving fittings, such as shower heads and taps, as well as water conserving equipment such as new more efficient washing machines.
